My name is Hailey Bird. I am the Club Administrator and Academy Director for Roaring Fork United. I’ve been with the Club since 2020. I grew up playing soccer in Salt Lake City, Utah, played at Smith College (D3), and have been lucky enough to incorporate it into my career ever since. My working background is in sport-based youth development and non-profit administration.
I love working with the younger age groups because this stage is all about making it fun. This is often a player’s first experience with a ball, a coach, an organized team. They are just beginning to understand the very basic concepts of the game, what it is to play with teammates, and how to control their bodies. We get to be the super cool people that introduce the basics of the game in creative ways.
